Thoughts and stories of our 7 days of BW Challenge

A compilation of the seven day Black and White Photography Challenge. This compilation is to map our influences which made to capture these photographs and the stories behind them.

Day 1 :

Colors are digitized

Since we are based on architecture, we work a lot with sketches, drawings, and concepts. Sketches bring intuitive ideas and the colors add life to them. Admiring this process, now it has all changed. We are in the age of digitization, and colors are in the screens and not in hands.

Light is Personified

We always liked to work on product photo shoots. One such attempt ended up shooting the CFL lamps, which has an admirable shape which personifies light. Light is dual in nature, behaves both like wave and particle. The spiral curve paves the way for the particle looking like a wave.

Day 4 :

Traditionally Contemporary

Traditional architecture’s intent of GOPURAM is to have the sky as its limit. But, today these GOPURAM’s have their limitations. This small Gopuram is part of a famous temple in Kumbakonam which is known as the Temple town in Tamilnadu

Lines and Reflections

Architecture is kind of riddle. These clues will help you, the details are in the lines and the aesthetics are in the reflections. Facades have now become the symbolization of the modernity and it is today. At the same time, building it with proper reason and response is also a necessity.
